Exporting
Exporting your audiobook as finished audio files.
Export Dialog Overview
Open the Export dialog from the project editor toolbar. The dialog lets you configure export settings, select chapters, and download your finished audiobook.
Export Modes
- Full audiobook — All selected chapters merged into a single audio file.
- Per chapter — Each chapter exported as a separate audio file.
- Both — Exports both the full audiobook and individual chapter files.
Chapter Selection
Use the checkboxes to select which chapters to include in the export. Each chapter shows a readiness indicator — green when all segments have generated audio, yellow when some segments are missing audio.
ACX Compliance Mode
Enable ACX compliance for audiobook distribution platforms like Audible. When enabled, the export automatically applies:
- 10 seconds of silence at the beginning and end of each chapter
- Loudness normalization to meet ACX specifications
- 192kbps CBR MP3 encoding
- MP3 ID3 metadata tags
Per-Chapter dB Adjustment
In ACX mode, each chapter has a dB adjustment slider. Use this to fine-tune the volume of individual chapters so they sound consistent across the audiobook.
Retail Audio Sample
Generate a retail audio sample from the beginning of your audiobook. The sample duration is configurable from 1 to 10 minutes. When ACX mode is enabled, the maximum is capped at 5 minutes and the sample includes ACX silence padding and loudness normalization. In non-ACX mode, you can generate samples up to 10 minutes with standard encoding.
